  • 3. The low deposit payable under this offer is £25.
  • 4. “Nothing more to pay until 2014” applies to bookings for arrivals between 13th March and 31st December 2014. Bookings made for arrivals between 1st January and 12th March 2014 will have balance payments due at the end of 2013.
  • 5. Does not apply to properties that sleep 10 or more.
  • 6. The difference between the £25 low deposit and the usual deposit shown in our main brochure or website is payable with the balance payment, which we must receive no later than 8 weeks before your booking starts, or at the time of cancellation if you cancel your booking. This payment will include all applicable charges as detailed on your booking confirmation, including any insurance premiums and any Ferry costs. If payment is not received in full on time, we can treat your booking as cancelled by you for a non-refundable reason. If this happens, you will be responsible for cancellation charges (as shown in our main brochure or our website) including any deferred Booking Fee, Personal Travel Insurance and Ferry crossings that you have chosen to buy, all of which must be paid immediately.

Property Description

Dartview is a lovely, light and airy semi-detached house with stunning views over Waterhead Creek, the River Dart, Dartmouth and the surrounding countryside. Kingswear is a pretty riverside village, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the sunny east bank of the River Dart opposite the town of Dartmouth. Here you will find a village store, a public house and a bistro. Dartmouth, with a wide range of shops and restaurants, can be easily accessed using the frequent car and passenger ferries which run all week from early morning until late at night.
There are a number of pretty, sandy beaches nearby and lovely coastal and country walks from Kingswear. The National Trust properties of Greenway and Coleton Fishacre are close by. The property offers easy access to the facilities of the English Riviera from Torquay to Brixham. The house, which is reverse level to make the most of its magnificent views, is situated in a quiet location above the village. The top floor at street level can be self-contained, offering food preparation, eating, sitting, sleeping and en-suite facilities and a balcony, all at street level.

Street Level: From road step up to Entrance door: leading to open plan Kitchen/Dining room: Kitchen area fully fitted and having oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. The dining area has French doors to a balcony with superb views. Bedroom 2: double bed. En-suite: shower, basin and WC. Middle Level: The middle floor and lowest floor can be accessed using the steps at the side of the house, which lead down to the front (side) door. Sitting room: with feature fireplace, TV and DVD player, door to balcony. Bedroom 3: two single beds. Bathroom: free-standing bath, basin and WC. Hallway: door to steps leading to front. Lower Level: Bedroom 1: kingsize bed, door to patio and garden. En-suite: shower, basin and WC. Cloakroom: basin, WC. Sunroom: Sofa and door to the garden.
